In landscape architecture, classroom and studio based instruction is complemented by a wide range of extracurricular programs and events sponsored by the Department, student organizations and other units on campus. The Department hosts an annual lecture series bringing prominent landscape architects to discuss their work, as well as lectures by visiting practitioners, alumni, and colleagues from other universities. Our faculty and students also participate in research and symposia nationally and internationally. Each spring the School's Career Expo attracts representatives of small and large firms from across the country.
