Provides awards to students for an outstanding landscape history/theory paper and for the best planting design each year.

Vincent Bellafiore Endowed Fellowship

Established in honor of former Department Head, Vincent Bellafiore, this fund provides a fellowship to a promising Ph.D. student.

Bruce Borland Memorial Fund

Established in memory of Bruce Borland (BLA 1981), this fund supports the education of students interested in golf course architecture.

Terry Harkness "Plants in Design" Fund

This fund is used to advance Professor Harkness's creative legacy of inspired instruction in plants and design.

Charles W. Harris Traveling Scholarship

This student travel scholarship was established in honor of former professor and alumnus Chuck Harris.

Gary Kesler Fund

Established in honor of former Associate Head, Gary Kesler, this fund provides a prize for a student who demonstrates technical principle mastery.

Cherie L. Kluesing Memorial Endowment

Provides a bronze medal and cash award to a student who creatively integrates art and landscape in their designs. The endowment also provides competitive fellowships to recruit and support outstanding students in the graduate program.

Created in honor of former Department Head, Bob Riley, this fund provides resources for graduate student travel and enrichment.

Dan Ryan Prize Fund

Established in memory of Dan Ryan, a member of the Class of 2002, this fund provides a cash prize to a student in the sophomore class who exhibits outstanding graphic skills and a strong willingness to assist other students.
